A little corner of calm, color, and chlorophyll.
When I started collecting plants, I told myself I’d just get a few.
(Cue future me surrounded by rare hoyas, trailing pearls, and one very opinionated Monstera.)
At first, it was a small shelf by the kitchen window with a pothos and a succulent I forgot to water. Then it was acquiring Godzilla Monstera from a co-worker retiring. Godzilla grew, and grew, and grew, and so did the shelf. It became a rotating display of color and growth. Pink leaves, heart shapes, marbled variegation… and let’s not talk about that one crispy calathea I thought I could handle.
Over the years, it’s changed—just like life has. From baby naps to toddler chaos, from hosting parties to finding pockets of peace in the wildest days of motherhood. It has become more than décor. It’s a daily reminder to slow down. It has challenged me. That growth—real, lasting, meaningful growth—doesn’t happen overnight. It’s in the small changes, the quiet rooting, the patient waiting. It’s magic you often don’t notice until one day you look and say, “Whoa… when did that happen?”
This page is for that joy. For the wins and the crispy-leaf fails. For the shelfies, styling, swaps, and those “look what just popped out!” moments.
Whether you’re nurturing a full indoor jungle or just brought home your first heart-leaf cutting… welcome. You belong here.
